What does E.S.W.T do?
In studies on erectile dysfunction, it has been shown that shock waves cause micro-trauma in the tissue to which they are applied, causing the secretion of growth and regeneration factors that stimulate tissue regeneration, blood supply and new vessel formation. In addition, nitric oxide (NO) synthesis, which causes the expansion of blood vessels in the penis, is also increased. Nitric oxide is one of the most important substances responsible for erections. Stem cell activation and tissue regeneration also have a positive effect on erection after ESWT.
How is the procedure applied?
Penis üzerine uygulanan ESWT haftada 2-3 kez olmak üzere 6-12 seans uygulanır. Yan etki olmadıgından seans uzatılabilir.
Bir jenaratör içeren ana cihazda üretilen şok dalgaları bir başlık ile uygulanan bölgeye iletilir. Bu başlık ile işlem penisin uç, orta ve alt gövde kısmına ve köklerine uygulanır.Her seans yaklaşık 15 dakika sürer. İşlem sırasında düşük enerji kullanıldığı için lokal ağrı kesici uygulaması gerekmez. İşlem sonrası normal günlük hayata dönülebilir.
