Penile Filler — Girth Enhancement and Glans Augmentation
What Is Penile Filler?
In Turkey, the term “damat dolgusu” — literally “groom’s filler” — has become the colloquial name for a pair of related but distinct procedures: penile girth enhancement and glans (head) augmentation.
Both procedures are non-surgical, performed under local anesthesia, and completed in a single clinic visit. They are minimally invasive by nature — but they serve different purposes and work through different mechanisms.
Girth enhancement focuses on aesthetics and confidence. Glans augmentation addresses sensitivity, improving ejaculatory control. Which one is appropriate for you will be determined following a specialist evaluation.
Girth Enhancement
Penile girth enhancement involves injecting a filler material beneath the skin of the penile shaft to increase its circumference and overall volume. It offers a non-surgical alternative for men who are dissatisfied with their size but wish to avoid an invasive procedure.
What you can expect:
A visible and noticeable increase in penile circumference
Improved aesthetic appearance and a stronger sense of confidence
Greater comfort and ease in sexual and intimate situations
Results that are long-lasting, though not permanent — the filler is gradually absorbed by the body over time
Important: This procedure increases girth only. It does not extend penile length.
Glans Augmentation
Glans augmentation involves injecting filler material into the head of the penis (glans penis) to reduce hypersensitivity and improve ejaculatory control.
In some men, the nerve density in the glans is significantly above average — causing the area to react to stimulation faster and more intensely than normal. This can make ejaculatory control difficult, regardless of effort or desire.
The filler creates a subtle physical barrier between the skin surface and the underlying nerve endings. This slows the transmission of stimulation, reduces the exaggerated response, and extends the time to ejaculation.
What you can expect:
Reduced penile hypersensitivity
Improved ejaculatory control and longer-lasting intimacy
Results that are both aesthetic and functional
The filler materials used at our clinic are European-grade, high-quality products. We do not use products of Far Eastern origin. Results typically last 12 to 18 months — however, because the brain adapts to the new ejaculatory threshold during this period, the effects are often lasting even after the filler has been absorbed.
How does this compare to SDC?
Both glans augmentation and SDC target penile hypersensitivity, but through different mechanisms. The filler creates a physical barrier, while SDC directly modulates nerve signal capacity. A specialist evaluation will determine which approach is appropriate for your situation.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
For girth enhancement:
– Men dissatisfied with penile circumference from an aesthetic standpoint
– Men seeking a non-surgical alternative to invasive procedures
– Men experiencing reduced confidence related to size who wish to improve their intimate life
For glans augmentation:
– Men experiencing premature ejaculation or reduced ejaculatory control due to penile hypersensitivity
– Men who have not achieved satisfactory results with topical sprays, creams, or oral medications
– Men seeking a long-lasting solution that does not require application before every sexual encounter
Important: Neither procedure is appropriate for every patient. Without a proper evaluation, any treatment is unlikely to meet your expectations. A specialist consultation is essential.
The Procedure
Both procedures follow the same general process. No hospitalization or general anesthesia is required.
Step 1 — Specialist Consultation
A treatment plan is developed based on which procedure is recommended, how much filler is needed, and how it will be applied. Expectations and candidacy are discussed in detail.
Step 2 — Local Anesthesia
The treatment area is numbed with local anesthesia. Once adequate numbness is achieved, the procedure begins. No pain or burning is felt.
Step 3 — Filler Injection
The filler is injected into the target area using fine-gauge needles. For glans augmentation, the goal is to create a uniform subdermal barrier; for girth enhancement, even distribution throughout the shaft is the objective.
Step 4 — Shaping and Completion
The filler is manually shaped to ensure even, natural-looking distribution. No incisions or sutures are required. Patients can leave the clinic shortly after.
The procedure takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
Recovery
No dedicated recovery period is required.
First 5–7 days: Sexual activity should be avoided. Mild swelling or sensitivity in the treated area is normal and will resolve on its own.
Weeks 1–2: The filler settles and integrates with the surrounding tissue. Results begin to take shape.
Weeks 2–4 (glans augmentation): Changes in ejaculatory control are typically noticed during this period.
Daily activities: All normal routines can be resumed on the day of the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the procedure painful?
No. Local anesthesia ensures no pain or burning throughout the procedure.
How long do results last?
Results are long-lasting but not permanent. Effects typically last 12–18 months. For glans augmentation, many men adapt to their new ejaculatory threshold during this period — making repeat injections rarely necessary.
Will it increase length?
No. Neither procedure affects penile length. Girth enhancement increases circumference only.
Will it affect my erections?
No. Filler injections do not interfere with the erectile mechanism. In fact, many men report indirect improvements in erectile confidence due to increased self-assurance.
Will I lose sensation?
Glans augmentation reduces hypersensitivity — it does not eliminate sensation. Normal sexual pleasure is fully preserved.
Can both procedures be done in the same session?
Yes, in most cases both can be performed during a single visit. Your doctor will determine the best approach during your consultation.
Is this right for me?
That can only be determined through a specialist evaluation. Schedule a consultation with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akif Diri to discuss your situation in detail.
